Shanghai Nanyang-Fujikura Cable Co., Ltd. is a joint venture company . It was set up in Oct, 1995. The total investment amount of the company is 7.43 Million U.S.D, the registered capital is 4.25 million U.S.D.

Shanghai Nanyang-Fujikura possesses the advanced equipment, world leading "FUJIKURA" technologies and efficient management system. Its main products include High-speed elevator travelling cable used in high-rise building (the full ranges of the flat type PVC elevator cable), fire-proof cables and clean cables (low smoke, non-toxic, non-corrosive and flame retardant non-halogen ecology cable). The company also produces conventional 0.6/1KV cross-linked polyethylene insulated cables, PVC insulated power cables, control cables, fireproof control cables, insulated wires and etc.

In 1998, the company actively adopted the overseas advanced technologies of prefabricated branch cable and became the first manufacturer in China. The company will contribute for modernizing electric trunk lines of high rise building such as office and high society mansion with high reliability, low cost and less time.

The elevator cables produced by Nanyang-Fujikura are the only products passed the 3 million times bending life test under the simulation of the actual elevator operation condition. These cables are provided nearly all of the elevator manufacturers in domestic market, such as Mitsubishi, China Schindler, Guangzhou Hitachi, Shenyang Toshiba and so on for complement.

The clean cables, fire-proof cables, prefabricated branch cables have been used in many projects, such as Shanghai Subway No2, Shanghai Pudong New International Airport, Shanghai Education TV Station, Pudong Senmao Building etc.

The company exports approximately 40% of the products to HongKong, Singapore, Korea, Malaysia, South America Columbia, Japan, and other countries and regions.

The company is not only capable to produce the products according to GB, JB and the standards of IEC (International Electro-technical Commission), but also is capable to produce according to the standards or norms of the developed countries. The product qualities entirely have achieved the level of Fujikura.

In 1996, the company had been elected by Shanghai Foreign Investment Commission and the Shanghai Foreign Economic & Trade Commission as an Enterprise of advanced technologies, and it had also passed the ISO 9002 quality system certification in 1997.

In 2021, Shanghai Qifan Cable Co., Ltd. acquired Shanghai Nanyang-Fujikura Cable as its subsidiary. Qifan Cable introduced a more modern management concept, bringing new funds and vitality to Nanyang-Fujikura and embarking on a new journey for Nanyang-Fujikura Cable.
