The Lab & R.D. Center is the first class Lab of Chinese cable industry, including full set of inspection equipment and capacity for materials and products. Meantime, it is District-level Lab of District Minhang of Shanghai. The function is for material incoming inspection, products performance testing, and new products researching & development.

The Lab owns the testing equipment for conventional cables, (such as high pressure meter, dc resistance tester, projector, tensile machine, aging boxes, cable into a bundle of combustion test equipment, cable fire test equipment, cables, low smoke, zero halogen test equipment, communications cable characteristic impedance, attenuation test equipment, etc), also owns the equipment for 3M times life testing of U-bending under simulation elevator running; the equipment for Suspension-Deflection-U bending of "Ultra-high-rising Ultra-high-speed elevator cable" under simulation elevator cable running in high temperature or low temperature testing; the equipment for 1440 degrees torsion testing of "Wind Power Cable" under simulation environment between -60 ~ 50 ℃; the equipment for testing RoHS materials, etc.
